Role OverviewThe Manufacturing Assistant will help keep the department running efficiently by staging work for the machines and caring for the machine fluids (lubricants and coolant). This role is part of a team that is energized by challenges and the effort needed to solve them. We care how work gets accomplished and are deeply invested in the success of our customers and colleagues.
What You Will Do
Maintain cleanliness of wash area, maintain machine fluid inventories, fill machines with oil, fill coolant wagons, perform machine coolant changes, receive raw material, store raw material and control inventory, move and stage raw material to machining centers, retrieve gages from and return gages to Gage Control / Calibration, move WIP material, painting and floor cleaning as necessary, complete 5S action items as assigned.

Requirements
- Knowledge of safe work practices including working with solvents and overhead crane use.
- Good communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
