Job Description
AM General is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Contractor to create and maintain illustrated assembly instructions, provide floor support for Manufacturing, and lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma and ISO Standard tools. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 2-5 years of experience in automotive assembly, and knowledge of SAP, PLM++, and UGNX.

Requirements

  • Create and maintain complete and accurate illustrated assembly instructions
  • Provide floor support for Manufacturing as required
  • Lead and participate in using and implementation of Lean Six Sigma and ISO Standard tools within the assembly process flow
  • Interact with Production Employees, Supervisors, Quality Acceptance, Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Suppliers, Consultants, Contractors, Customers, co-workers in other departments, and the Government
  • Provide strong support of AMG BOS & MOS
