Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and techniques to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. This role applies lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to enhance workflows, eliminate waste, and increase productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Three or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, supplier development, or quality engineering required
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, sheet metal, coatings, or assembly
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes, tools, manufacturing, and operations, and asset acquisition
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering techniques
  • Solid knowledge of engineering techniques and CAD software
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret detailed and complex drawing information to develop time sensitive component set-ups in addition to actual process
  • Computer and related software knowledge and/or experience and the ability to learn/use new computer programs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and SQL / Access databases
  • Verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills with internal customers
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle a complex workload
  • Ability to identify complex problems and to review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
