Role OverviewThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and standardizing manufacturing processes while leading capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This role serves as a key technical resource responsible for improving production efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
What You Will Do
Designs and streamlines production processes, acts as a technical lead on changes to existing process systems and new technologies, identifies root causes of performance gaps, and leads cross-functional efforts to eliminate barriers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electromechanical equipment, manufacturing terms, and project management tools and techniques. They will also have experience working in a cGMP manufacturing facility, writing or improving Standard Operating Procedures, and applying Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Understanding of electromechanical equipment
- Understanding of manufacturing terms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Understanding of project management tools and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and other equipment documentation
