Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support our Mechanical Manufacturing Facility (MMF) for the Summer of 2026. The selected candidate will support active production programs by standardizing calibrated tool requirements across all part numbers currently in production.

Requirements

  • Create and maintain calibrated tool and machine records within the Solumina tool library
  • Review and update all active MMF manufacturing process plans to properly incorporate calibrated tooling requirements
  • Identify tooling gaps or inconsistencies and coordinate with assigned Manufacturing Engineers for resolution
  • Support standardization of process plan structure across multiple programs
  • Assist with additional manufacturing engineering tasks as assigned
