Role OverviewManage the development of manufacturing equipment specifications and requirements for the plant and product programs. Develop and drive a strong culture of high performance, excellent quality, and teamwork. Provide guidance on operations performance metrics improvements. Identify and coordinate capital investment opportunities.
What You Will Do
Manage daily activities of the engineering, facility, and maintenance teams including employee development. Develop and implement multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget. Continuously improve the production process through improvements to equipment, tools, procedures or other factors impacting production capability.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of supervisory experience in an operations/production environment, including at least 1 year of experience in project management, automation, and maintenance strategies. Strong knowledge of robotic programming, PLC troubleshooting, and automation equipment commissioning is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related Engineering field or foreign degree equivalent
- 3 years of supervisory experience in an operations/production environment
- Experience in project management, automation, and maintenance strategies
- Knowledge of robotic programming (ABB IRC5, FANUC Router ware), PLC troubleshooting, and automation equipment commissioning
