Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Resource Programmer III is responsible for designing manufacturing resources, including computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs, manufacturing computer-aided design (MCAD) tools, and loft patterns. They work in accordance with management strategies and concepts, as well as program and departmental processes and procedures. The role requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal and external customers.

What You Will Do

The Manufacturing Engineering Resource Programmer III will interrogate and analyze engineering drawings, models, and technical specifications to perform assigned work. They will provide MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences, develop and maintain tooling and fixture definitions, and execute creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions.

The ideal candidate will have two years of college or three years of experience in the aircraft industry, with a demonstrated capability to apply GD&T/Aerospace tolerances. They will be skilled in NC programming, loft, engineering, tool design, manufacturing, and planning processes and procedures.
