Job Description
Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will provide technical support for Manufactured Product orders placed with suppliers, working with internal teams to manage supplier and project support, order tracking, forecasting, and expediting. You will also provide technical support to production processes to maximize quality and reliability, and support quality requirements for accurate and complete manufacturing and test documentation.

What You Will Do

You will identify and investigate process/schedule deviations, work to resolve product nonconformance/failures, and provide consultative input to manufacturing area layouts to maximize work efficiency and optimize material flow. You will also coordinate efforts with engineering, production, and outside suppliers to complete the job.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or experience related manufacturing fields
  • Three (3) or more years of related technical manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a highly complex, highly regulated, low volume manufacturing environment
  • Problem solving, error prevention, and process improvement in complex manufacturing environments
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Project
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills
  • Comfortable in a matrix organizational structure
  • Leader, Collaborator, Communicator
  • Ability to convert business needs / requirements into executable strategies
  • Excellent Customer service skills with a strong understanding of Customer relationship building
  • Self-starter; self-motivator; willing to do what it takes to get the job done
