Role Overview

The Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer – BIW Feasibility will be responsible for performing BIW manufacturing activities, developing Design to Manufacturing proposals, and ensuring that the Design to Manufacturing and Feasibility requirements are implemented in the Product Design.

What You Will Do

Develop high visibility weekly updates to Stellantis management, perform BIW manufacturing activities, and execute Change Management meetings to ensure product process and tooling are aligned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • CAD skills
  • Strong knowledge of GA manufacturing processes and tooling
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong organizational/project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)
  • Self-motivated and able to successfully achieve results under time pressure
  • Ability to work with all levels of management while establishing and maintaining lines of communication
  • Superior teamwork and leadership skills
