Role Overview

Manufacturing Operators setup and operate a variety of production equipment in a commercial nuclear fuel fabrication operation. You will have ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and production in performance of position responsibilities, and be committed to excellence in all aspects of work.

What You Will Do

Setup and operate a variety of production equipment, move products and product containers, operate motorized fork trucks, side-loaders, hand trucks, and overhead cranes, perform basic setups, changeovers, and minor adjustments, check and monitor quality and output, and maintain records and process control charts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a pre-hire assessment
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a maintenance, manufacturing/production operation, nuclear facility, OR equivalent military experience; OR Associate Degree in technical field
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend shifts as needed
  • Corrected 20/20 vision and color distinction required to complete the Quality Control (QC) vision test
  • Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment

Benefits

  • Base pay ranges from $29.01 to $29.58 in 6 months
  • Night shift bonus of $1/hour paid when employee works evening or night shifts
  • Additional $2/hour premium for roles working in Airborne Controlled Areas
