Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee custom electrical equipment projects from order release through production, shipment, and completion. This role serves as the central coordinator between engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet customer requirements.
What You Will Do
Manage multiple manufacturing projects from order entry through fabrication, assembly, testing, shipment, and closeout. Develop project schedules, monitor milestones, and adjust timelines as production priorities change.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position is best suited for someone with formal Project Manager experience leading manufacturing or engineered product projects. Candidates whose project management experience was only a small part of another role are unlikely to be successful in this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience serving in a dedicated Project Manager role within manufacturing, production, or industrial operations
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to build strong relationships across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and leadership teams
