Role OverviewManufacturing Supervisor will supervise and lead a unionized workforce in a manufacturing environment, focusing on teamwork, continuous improvement, and achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
What You Will Do
Active participation in environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring compliance with quality procedures, achieving production goals, controlling manufacturing costs, and leading Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, at least five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and experience in Lean Manufacturing or business system-based companies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Five years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to work additional hours
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems using Lean Manufacturing tools
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
