Role OverviewThis Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all aspects of manufacturing operations, including people, processes, safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in manufacturing operations leadership, team development, and production supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead and manage production operations and product quality by implementing, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies, procedures, and standards. They will achieve departmental production goals and drive continuous improvement through Lean principles, performance monitoring, problem-solving, and corrective actions.

Requirements
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory skills and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of tube cutting, bending, welding, and/or powder coat finishing processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work well with and motivate a diverse group of people.
- Understanding of Lean principles and/or Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to read and interpret business documents and data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of General business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, electronic mail, procedures and performance documents, as examples, in English.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to effectively conduct meetings in person and with technology assistance.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to utilize data to make business decisions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
