Job Description
Manufacturing Supervisor – Cell Therapy & Mammalian Manufacturing at Lonza Portsmouth. Lead high-performing teams in Cell Therapy and Mammalian Manufacturing, delivering safe, compliant, and reliable production while developing the next generation of Lonza manufacturing talent.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in a cGMP manufacturing environment (Biotech, Pharma, Cell Therapy, or Biologics)
  • Prior experience leading teams, shifts, or serving as a Point of Contact / Lead
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Aseptic processing, cell culture, or cell therapy operations or Mammalian cell culture, bioreactors, chromatography, or purification
  • Calm and decisive under pressure
  • Able to lead through change and growth
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical challenges into clear action
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or STEM preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (Day 7am–7pm or Night 7pm–7am)
