Role OverviewPALFINGER is seeking a Marine Service Technician to work at our Portsmouth, VA location. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing lifeboats, davit/winch systems, and PALFINGER cranes. The role requires a strong technical background and experience in hydraulic and mechanical/electromechanical systems.
What You Will Do
Inspect, test, commission, and perform annual and 5-year services on lifeboats, davit/winch systems, and PALFINGER cranes. Diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in the field.

Requirements
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in hydraulic and mechanical/electromechanical systems
- Experience in the marine or offshore industry (preferred)
- Solid theoretical knowledge of cranes, hydraulics, and electrical systems in marine or fishing environments
- Willingness to travel
- Clear communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and verbal
