Job Description
We are seeking a Market Operations Engineer to join our team at ERCOT. As a Market Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the ERCOT wholesale market, preparing and validating models of the electric power systems, and applying principles of electricity market theory to understand market behavior and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering or related discipline
  • 2+ years' of working experience in electric utility industry (Level II and above)
  • Proven technical skills with common business applications such as SQL, EXCEL and PowerPoint
