Job Description
The City and County of Denver seeks a Marketing and Communications Director to lead the department's marketing and communications efforts, overseeing a team of six communications and marketing professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging diverse community voices, a strong understanding of essential services, and the ability to convey the breadth of opportunities that DHS supports.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on community engagement and relations
Experience managing a marketing and communications team in a government setting
Excellent project management capabilities, including delegating tasks and meeting deadlines
Strong relationship building skills, and an ability to provide inspiring counsel to other leaders and teams
Experience incorporating community voices and supporting equity and inclusion through marketing and communications
