Job Description
The City and County of Denver seeks a Marketing and Communications Director to lead the department's marketing and communications efforts, overseeing a team of six communications and marketing professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging diverse community voices, a strong understanding of essential services, and the ability to convey the breadth of opportunities that DHS supports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on community engagement and relations
  • Experience managing a marketing and communications team in a government setting
  • Excellent project management capabilities, including delegating tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Strong relationship building skills, and an ability to provide inspiring counsel to other leaders and teams
  • Experience incorporating community voices and supporting equity and inclusion through marketing and communications
