Marketing Manager

The Southern District YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and service-oriented Marketing Manager to tell the YMCA story and strengthen engagement throughout our community. This position is ideal for an experienced marketing manager with the expertise and initiative to lead marketing efforts, drive strategic priorities, and hold ownership of organization-wide marketing initiatives.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute the organization's overall marketing strategy, create annual marketing plans aligned with organizational goals, conduct market research, and measure success of strategies through key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Demonstrated experience leading marketing initiatives and managing projects from strategy through execution.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
• Experience managing social media platforms, email marketing, websites, and digital communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; Canva and Constant Contact experience preferred.
• Experience with photography and basic video production.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
• Nonprofit, recreation, education, or community organization experience is preferred
