Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing marketing and communications tactics that promote Scripps Health and its entities. This role supports initiatives that drive awareness, preference and choice for service lines, providers and other services through coordinated, omni-channel marketing strategies.

What You Will Do

The Marketing Specialist will execute marketing and communications tactics, manage project workflows, track budgets and timelines, and coordinate each project from intake through final execution. This includes contributing to creative ideation, executing tactics and managing multiple reviews and approvals and tracking results.

Requirements

• Minimum of two to three years working as a marketing communications coordinator or project manager with experience, preferably in health care in project management, writing, editing, research and marketing analytics.
• Internal and external customer interaction and excellent customer service is required.
• Extremely well organized, detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple, unrelated tasks simultaneously.
• Possess excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of marketing analytics in social media, digital marketing and engagement tactics.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member, possess consensus-building and negotiation skills.
• Must have excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading and formatting skills.
• Bachelor of science degree in marketing and communications, journalism or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
