Job Description
MDEM is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented individual to assist with the Department’s 9-1-1 Board. The position involves examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting systems, records, and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by three credit hours in auditing
  • One year of experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles
  • Possession of a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a Master's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience
  • Prior experience working for the State of Maryland is desired
