Job Description
MDEM is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented individual to assist with the Department’s 9-1-1 Board. The position involves examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting systems, records, and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by three credit hours in auditing
One year of experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles
Possession of a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a Master's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience
Prior experience working for the State of Maryland is desired
