Job Description
At Marvin Behavioral Health, we deliver teletherapy designed specifically for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, addressing the unique challenges of their demanding work. We are a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatrists, engineers, data scientists, and healthcare leaders united by one mission: reshaping mental health support for the healthcare workforce.

Requirements

  • Independent licensure in Maryland as an LCMFT, LCSW-C, LCPC, or Licensed Psychologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy to adults
  • Experience providing therapy to healthcare professionals, mental healthcare workers, and/or first responders
  • Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week
  • Comfort delivering therapy via video platforms, using EHRs, digital scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to incorporate assessment and measurement-based tools (i.e. PHQ-9) to monitor progress and improve treatment outcomes
  • Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR or Gottman Method
  • Commitment to practicing cultural humility and patient-centered care
  • Passion for supporting the mental health of healthcare workers!
