Masking Technician

As a Masking Technician, you'll prepare customer parts for the metal finishing process by applying and removing specialized masking materials that protect designated surfaces during processing. This position requires patience, precision, steady hands, and exceptional attention to detail. The quality of your work directly impacts the quality of the finished product.

What You Will Do

Prepare customer parts for masking, apply and remove silicone plugs, rubber plugs, tape, and liquid maskants according to customer specifications, read work orders, blueprints, and written instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read an analog clock and tape measure
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Ability to work with very small parts while maintaining accuracy
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to safely work with approved chemicals and solvents
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States, as required for certain customer and government-related work
