Role OverviewThe Encore Boston Harbor Therapist - Spa will be responsible for ongoing coordination within the Spa Department. Responsible for providing all massage services to every guest according to Encore Service Standards in the spa facility or any other venues on the Encore Resort property where massage services are offered.
What You Will Do
Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction. Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations. Performs all regular and seasonal massage services offered on the menu as trained by the department.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required. High school or equivalent degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years massage therapy and customer service experience in a demanding high-volume luxury spa or resort environment.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or above
- High school or equivalent degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years massage therapy and customer service experience in a demanding high-volume luxury spa or resort environment
- Dual license in massage therapist & esthetician preferred
- Conversational English required, second language a plus
