Job Description
The Material Coordinator supports the assigned manufacturing department with materials, verifying inventory, cycling counting, reordering, and carrying out safety checks.
Requirements
Maintain work cell stock locations.
Trigger order signal for components on electronic replenishment.
Conducts cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reports discrepancies.
Process backorder items and expedites materials.
Loads, moves and unloads material to various inventory locations.
Completes and processes all associated documentation.
Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
Coordinate with production lead and department managers to ensure accountability for all materials.
Checking incoming materials for any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed prior to use in manufacturing.
Inform production lead and manager when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damage.
Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials are on hand at all times.
