Role OverviewThe Material Handler is responsible for the orderly movement of material in and out of the various manufacturing departments. A Floor Material Handler will supply equipment and operators with materials to insure the smooth and uninterrupted flow of the production processes.
What You Will Do
Essential duties and responsibilities include ensuring machine operators are supplied with necessary materials, operating manual pallet trucks and other non-powered material handling equipment, ordering materials from stock, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and basic math and computer skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
