Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for attaching identifying tags to containers, reading work orders, and moving freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas.

Requirements

  • Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs
  • Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using pallet jacks, forklifts, and/or trucks, tractors, Overhead Cranes and other equipment
  • Pick, verify, package, and load orders for shipment using provided documents and/or work orders
