Role OverviewThe Material Handler I will support the warehouse with duties related to shipping, receiving, and other warehouse functions as needed. Under general direction from the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler will accurately complete and file required paperwork, effectively use RF Smart Scanners and computerized MRP system, and operate all Powered Industrial Truck warehouse and material handling equipment.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities will include accurately picking material for production orders, loading material and distributing to appropriate locations, performing cycle counts, and logging shop floor orders. You will also be responsible for preparing material for shipment to vendors, communicating inventory discrepancies to the Production Supervisor, and maintaining shuttle shelf configurations.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to perform basic mathematical computations. You will also need to be able to read and understand SOPs, Work Instructions, and other technical documents. The ideal candidate will have previous material handling experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, but it is not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must currently have, or have the ability to obtain, PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification
- Must be licensed PA Driver and have a clean driving record
- Material Handler I - entry level position, previous material handling experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- Forklift certification preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), email, and Internet a plus
