Material Handler I

The Material Handler I is responsible for ensuring that distribution activities are conducted in accordance with internal quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. The role involves operating a forklift or other drivable warehouse equipment, loading and unloading materials, and performing housekeeping tasks.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Material Handler I include filling client orders safely and efficiently, operating a forklift or other warehouse equipment, loading and unloading materials, and performing housekeeping tasks.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, read and comprehend basic checklists, forms, or other related documents, and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Less than one-year related experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company in an ongoing capacity without company sponsorship
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Forklift certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
