Role OverviewThe Material Handler I is responsible for ensuring that distribution activities are conducted in accordance with internal quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. They will read and follow work orders, operate a forklift or other drivable warehouse equipment, and load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

The Material Handler I will perform tasks such as filling client orders safely and efficiently, operating a forklift or other drivable warehouse equipment, and loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and will be able to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Less than one-year related experience
- Forklift certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
