Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations to ensure accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and products. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production through work order kitting, and ensuring timely shipping and receiving activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or production environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as Deltek Costpoint or similar inventory systems preferred
  • Ability to read work orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory reports
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred
