Role OverviewThe Material Handler position is responsible for carrying out assigned duties, primarily focused on material handling within the FBZ department. The role involves delivering materials systematically and physically to various locations within the plant, handling inventory control procedures, and operating handheld scanners or tablets. The position requires constant lifting in excess of 20 pounds, stooping, bending, and kneeling, and standing for a minimum of eight hours.
What You Will Do
Deliver materials to various locations within the plant, handle inventory control procedures, operate handheld scanners or tablets, and perform all required transactions. Unload and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages. Load and unload materials onto or from profile pallets by hand. Communicate effectively with fellow employees.
