Role OverviewThe Material Handler (Reach) is responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently for the VAS department, handling all freight inbound or outbound properly, and maintaining warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping. The role requires flexibility to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary and not being afraid of heights. The Material Handler must possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and be able to work with limited supervision.
What You Will Do
The Material Handler will assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse, load and unload RJW truck/trailers safely and efficiently, and maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping. The role also involves processing outbound cross-dock freight, storing stock properly in the warehouse, and moving product into the storage racks.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of forklift driving experience in a warehouse using a forklift (reach, walkie rider, sit-down, cherry/order picker), a good stable work record, and a high school diploma or GED. The candidate must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English, and have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time.
