Role OverviewThe Material Program Manager is accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management including cost/schedule/quality, and management of supplier performance. This role will report directly to the Program MPM Leads, with accountability to the Program Management Office.
What You Will Do
Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution. Lead projects to enhance Supply Chain performance, continuous improvement and efficiencies.

The successful candidate will have financial, contracting, proposal development and negotiating experience and have project management responsibilities including, but not limited to risk and opportunity management, briefing in customer forums, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Experience with supply chain, vendor management, risk assessment/mitigation and/or supplier performance management
- Experience in subcontract proposals/contracts
- Experience with FAR/DFAR compliance
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date
