Job Description
Join MANTECH as a Material Science Engineer to support additive manufacturing team in Stafford, VA. As a subject matter expert, lead process optimization efforts, develop process modeling and simulation tools, and collaborate with engineering teams to leverage CAD-driven workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in additive manufacturing, with demonstrated focus in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
  • Deep expertise in material science engineering as applied to industrial Additive Manufacturing environments with experience with composites, polymers and foaming in 3D applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Additive Manufacturing process optimization, including parameter refinement and performance validation
  • Strong experience in process modeling and simulation for Additive Manufacturing systems
  • Proven experience in analysis and design characterization for Additive Manufacturing applications
