Role OverviewThe Production Employee sorts scrap metal such as Aluminum, Wire and Brass. They will also feed material into equipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What You Will Do
Recognize and organize different grades of materials appropriately, prepare material for the chopper, shredder, or baler, feed material into the chopper or shredder, tag material into finished goods inventory, maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to sort materials by hand or using hand tools, ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision, knowledge of Non-Ferrous and Ferrous metals.
