Material Storage Supervisor 1

Requirements

• Acting as a working supervisor, independently performing a full range of various stores duties, manual and clerical, such as receiving, storing, issuing, inspecting, and inventory of stocked commodities and supplies.
• Schedule, assign, oversee, and review the work of staff
• Provide staff training and assistance; conduct performance evaluations, and manage HR tasks
• Manage stockroom operation in accordance with industry best practices and CTDOT requirements
• Maintain perpetual inventory and related records in accordance with prescribed methods; assist in annual physical inventory and reconciliation process
• Purchase and track non-stock commodities for immediate use
• Manage winter commodities/products off-site
• Manage a motor vehicle fueling station
• Act as liaison with other operating units for customer service and product availability
