Role Overview

As Materials Management Supervisor, you will lead the shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling operations that keep AHC's production system running safely, accurately, and on schedule. You will own the daily flow of materials from receipt through storage, kitting, line-side delivery, and outbound shipment, while building the systems, standards, and team required to support production at scale.

What You Will Do

Lead the daily operations of the Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Management teams, including workload allocation, staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Own the end-to-end flow of materials through receiving, inspection, storage, picking, kitting, line-side delivery, staging, and outbound shipment.

You will translate production plans and work orders into disciplined materials execution, maintain inventory integrity, develop and coach frontline teams, and coordinate across Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Transportation to prevent material disruptions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing operations
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team of 15 or more employees, 2 years in an exempt role, and at least 1 year in a non-exempt role in a high volume, complex production environment
  • Experience managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, kitting, or material flow within a high volume production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory controls, material handling, work order execution, and production support
  • Demonstrated ability to lead frontline teams, establish clear operating standards, and hold teams accountable for performance
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing production priorities
  • Working knowledge of transportation requirements under 49 CFR and IATA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory management systems is preferred
