Role OverviewAs a Materials Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and qualifying aerospace sealants and potting compounds, with a strong emphasis on new product development based on emerging technologies. You will report to the Technical Manager, New Product Development in the Aerospace Sealants department and is located in our Aerospace Materials Science & Technology Center, Burbank, CA.
What You Will Do
Conduct hands-on work focusing on materials engineering and formulation development, literature reviews, intellectual property assessment, and customer engagement to qualify products. Work on cutting-edge sealants and potting compounds, ensuring successful formulation and product development.

Requirements
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Materials Chemistry, or Materials Engineering
- Deep understanding of scientific principles, materials engineering and formulations, including structure-function relationships in the context of material performance
