Requirements
- Valid certificate issued by the Connecticut State Board of Education in accordance with the Certification Regulations Concerning State Educator Certificates, Permits and Authorizations, with a secondary school endorsement
- Experience with 21st century standards-based lesson planning aligned to the CT Core Standards in Mathematics
- Experience with varied assessments to inform instruction and promote learning
- Experience fostering and facilitating learning and classroom management
- Experience communicating ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Experience practicing effective, active listening skills
- Experience working effectively and collaboratively with others
- Experience with organizational and problem solving skills
- Experience demonstrating excellent public relations skills
- Entry-level computer skill experience including Microsoft Office and Google Products
