Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are seeking a Mathematics Educator - AI Trainer to work remotely as an hourly contractor with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

  • PhD in Mathematics
  • MS in Mathematics with 3+ years teaching, research, or applied work
  • BS in Mathematics with 5+ years tutoring, contest coaching, or applied math work
  • Working fluency in at least two of: analysis, algebra, probability, combinatorics, numerical methods, applied math
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting function plots, geometric figures, statistical charts, and mathematical diagrams
  • Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
