Role Overview

This MBA internship is part of Amgen's Finance & Strategy Leadership Development Program (FSLDP), a key pipeline for leadership hires. Interns will partner with organizational leaders and gain exposure across multiple functional areas within Finance & Strategy. The program includes a week-long multidisciplinary case study project covering revenue and expense forecasting, operations, and sales and marketing. Successful interns will be considered for a full-time position in the 3-year rotational FSLDP.

Own the execution of a timely, relevant project tied directly to strategic and tactical goals while building financial and technical skills. Apply critical thinking in a fast-paced, high-profile role and gain exposure to the cross-functional nature of the business. Engage in a week-long case study project and participate in executive and social networking events, as well as community volunteer projects.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA program (at a minimum) before the internship starts
  • Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program
  • Must be available to work a full-time schedule
  • Enrolled in a Full-Time MBA Program and must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered
