Role OverviewThe Lift Operations Manager is responsible for the safe daily operation of all lifts, zip tours, coaster, and Colorado River at Mountain Creek. This includes adherence to standard operating procedures, staff hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations. The role also involves developing and conducting training for staff, ensuring strict adherence to resort policies and safety procedures, and creating a fun and team-oriented atmosphere.
What You Will Do
Daily responsibilities include conducting staff hiring and scheduling, writing performance evaluations, developing and conducting training, observing and coaching staff, and ensuring documentation of checklists and ride count logs. The role also involves managing the Lift Operations/Adventure budget and working with the Risk Manager to ensure guest safety.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of lift operations and/or resort operations, with demonstrated supervisory experience and a valid driver's license. The role requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to perform manual labor tasks in inclement weather conditions.
