Job Description
The MDU Account Representative supports the growth of Mainstream Fiber’s MDU business by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with property owners and managers, and assisting with sales development efforts across apartment communities, HOAs, and residential developments.
Requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, owners, developers, HOA contacts, and other key decision-makers within the MDU market.
Research and identify new business opportunities within assigned markets, including apartments, multi-dwelling properties, HOAs, senior living communities, and residential developments.
Present and promote Mainstream Fiber Networks’ products and services to prospective property partners, with support from MDU leadership as needed.
Partner with internal teams, including engineering, construction, marketing, project management, legal, and sales, to support a smooth handoff from opportunity to project planning, installation, and activation.
Provide professional and timely support to property contacts, including existing accounts, helping address questions, concerns, and follow-up needs.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management, including reporting on outreach activity, pipeline status, property opportunities, and progress toward assigned goals.
Conduct site visits and presentations to educate property management and residents about the benefits of Fiber optic internet.
Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company goals.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed and identify potential growth opportunities.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand business contacts and generate leads.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
