The Meat Cutter ensures the store's meat department operates at the company's standards, delivering high-level customer service and satisfaction. The role involves cutting and preparing standard cuts of meat, assisting with product ordering, and maintaining proper date rotation for dated and undated products.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment preferred
  • Proficiency in basic math skills required
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in English
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Must be dependable and flexible, including a willingness to work in other areas of the store
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork and problem-solving skills
