Role OverviewAs a Meat Host, you'll create a welcoming experience for every customer by providing friendly, knowledgeable service at our fresh meat counter. You'll assist customers with their selections, weigh and package fresh products, maintain an attractive service case, and help ensure the department is fully stocked with the highest quality meats.
What You Will Do
Welcome and assist customers with fresh meat selections and special requests, weigh, wrap, label, and package meat products for customers, answer customer questions and provide product recommendations, maintain clean, full, and visually appealing meat displays by stocking and rotating products for freshness, communicate with Meat Cutters to keep the service counter stocked throughout the day, verify pricing and promotional items for accuracy, remove and properly store products at the end of the day, follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, keep the service counter and work area clean, organized, and guest-ready, assist with other department responsibilities as needed, deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.
