Role OverviewAs a Meat Wrapper at Stew Leonard's, you will prepare freshly cut and trimmed meat merchandise for sale by wrapping, weighing, and pricing. You will maintain, fill, and rotate products in the meat cases for quality, freshness, and proper dates. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality meats.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day as a Meat Wrapper will include safely using/operating a meat wrapper, preparing meat merchandise cut by Meat Cutters for sales floor by wrapping, weighing, and pricing all products, maintaining, filling, and rotating products in the meat cases for quality, freshness, and proper dates, communicating with Meat Cutters what merchandise is needed for meat cases, checking prices based on day of the week for 4 day and weekly ads items, pulling all merchandise from meat cases each night for storage in meat cooler, and providing excellent customer service.
