Role OverviewThe Meat Wrapper learns the skills of handling fresh meat and other meat products, safe, sanitary and efficient operation of the meat department, ordering and inventory, equipment operations, and merchandising according to standards set by the company. They merchandise and present fresh meat to maximize sales.
What You Will Do
Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat, labels packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards, ensures displays and case signs are updated appropriately, and assists with product ordering.

Must be 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent required, experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred, and proficiency in basic math skills required.
