Role OverviewThe Meat Wrapper learns the skills of handling fresh meat and other meat products, safe, sanitary and efficient operation of the meat department, ordering and inventory, equipment operations, and merchandising according to standards set by the company.
What You Will Do
Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat, labels packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards, and ensures displays and case signs are updated appropriately.

Must be 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent required, and experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred.

- Must be 18 years of age

- Experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred
- Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment
- Proficiency in basic math skills required
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication
- Must be dependable and flexible
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
