Requirements

  • Adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of can line equipment
  • Making modifications to equipment where needed and making improvements or changes in the operation as directed
  • Performing preventative maintenance as needed
  • Lubricating equipment and supplying lubricant as needed
  • Directing equipment operators in their duties
  • Maintaining change-out records of all parts and supplies used
  • Supplying adequate package material for continual line operations
  • Reporting damage to machines or equipment or spoilage to immediate supervisor
  • Maintaining work area in a neat and orderly manner
