Role OverviewJoin our team as a Mechanic/Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician and diagnose and repair diesel engines and other powertrain components. Work independently or with a team to maintain an effective and clean work environment.
What You Will Do
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, air brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems. Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have own tools or ability to obtain own tools to complete all job functions. Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn. Welding and torch experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics is preferred
- Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license OR be willing to successfully complete Company paid CDL training program
